About TalentMash.com
Recruitment Communications in today’s world has taken on a whole new meaning. With too many recruitment sources to choose from, an unstable economy and different generations in the workplace, recruiting has become even more challenging, competitive and confusing. But these changes offer up innovative ways of sourcing talent. At Talentmash.com, we’ll discuss ways to do just that; mash technology and talent.
I encourage feedback, suggestions or content that you would like to share.
About Kristin Gissaro
Kristin Gissaro started her career as an Account Coordinator with NAS Recruitment Communications in 2002 after graduating from Penn State University. She quickly learned that understanding client’s recruitment challenges, developing media strategies and employment branding campaigns were her passion. She eventually moved on into a Director role in both the Jacksonville, FL and San Diego, CA offices. Her role enabled her to network with key industry experts, build relationships with client partners, speak publicly and blog about industry trends.
She started blogging for ERE.net on the Generational Recruiting Blog discussing how different generations in the candidate pool and workplace are creating many challenges for many people. She also started speaking at industry shows on Generational Recruiting with her program titled, “Recruiting in a Multi-Generational World”. She has spoken to Call Center Recruiting Groups, Healthcare Recruiter Groups, local SHRM Chapters, CUPA-HR Regional Conferences among others.
She eventually created Talentmash.com where she blogs about many different trends that effect the recruiting industry, some of which include generational factors, new recruitment technology, interactive recruitment and social networking.
She believes that recruiting has become the art of mashing talent and technology in order to provide optimal results. Those that do it successfully have mastered recruiting in today’s age.
She’s been featured on xtremerecruiting.tv and most recently interviewed by Bea Fields for an ongoing Generational Study.
Kristin currently resides in San Diego, California with her dog Jack and is enjoying the Southern California lifestyle. She’s an avid Penn State fan and loves Mexican food.
If you would like to ask her a question, get advice, post a comment or invite her to speak at your next Association Meeting, feel free to leave a comment or email her at kristingissaro@gmail.com.
